The first five bookings are £40 for the early places.
This is not a casual camera walk. It is a structured film photography session designed to help you shoot with more purpose, work confidently with a model, use location intelligently, and get the strongest result from the rolls you expose on the day.
Guidance will be provided by Martin Brown, founder of Liquid Light Lab and Liquid Light Whisperer. Martin’s film portrait work includes actors, performers and creative professionals, with the session focused on exposure, composition, subject direction, location use, tonal control and the complete film workflow from camera to scan.
Bath gives us an exceptional setting for this kind of work. The city has strong architectural lines, stone textures, layered streets, historic façades and compact locations that suit directed portrait work on film. The walk will use Bath as more than a backdrop, bringing the structure of the city into the images through controlled composition, subject placement and practical location choices.
Photograph Olga, Our In-House Model
The session includes portrait shooting with Olga, one of the most recognisable faces across Liquid Light Lab and Liquid Light Whisperer.
Olga appears in many images and articles across the website, Candido Collective materials, and The Cinematic Notebook, and is experienced in film-led portrait sessions. She understands expression, movement, pose and the slower rhythm of working with film, giving attendees a stronger and more focused portrait opportunity than a standard photowalk.
