Batteries, lenses, filters, straps, light meters, spare cameras, transport, food, drink, parking, personal insurance and additional film are not included.

Additional rolls may be processed separately through Liquid Light Lab at the usual lab rates, subject to lab capacity and normal booking requirements.

5 - Attendee responsibility for equipment

You are responsible for bringing a working camera and for knowing how to load, expose, rewind and unload it.

Liquid Light Whisperer, Liquid Light Lab and This is How I Roll Film are not responsible for camera faults, loading errors, light leaks, blank rolls, accidental exposure, missed frames, shutter faults, incorrect ISO setting, rewind failure, lens faults, meter faults or any other equipment-related issue.

Guidance may be given during the event, but responsibility for operating your camera remains with you.

6 - Film use and handover

The supplied rolls are provided for use during the event. At the end of the walk, exposed rolls must be handed to Liquid Light Lab for development and scanning.

If you choose not to expose a supplied roll during the event, that roll may not qualify for included development and scanning later.

If you take supplied film away unexposed, it is treated as supplied film only. The included lab service applies to the event-exposed rolls unless otherwise agreed in writing.

7 - Development and scanning

Included rolls will be developed and scanned by Liquid Light Lab using the appropriate process for each film type.

Liquid Light Lab will handle the film with professional care, but film photography carries inherent risks. No guarantee is given that every frame will be correctly exposed, correctly focused, printable, scannable, free from defects or suitable for any particular use.

Liquid Light Lab is not responsible for defects caused by camera faults, incorrect exposure, handling before handover, accidental opening of the camera, damaged film cassettes, pre-existing manufacturing faults, airport/security scanning, moisture, heat, dust, scratches caused before receipt, or other factors outside lab control.

If a lab error occurs and materially affects the processing of an included roll, the remedy will be limited to a reasonable replacement service, credit or refund of the lab element of that roll, at Liquid Light Lab’s discretion. Liability does not extend to consequential loss, lost opportunity, travel cost, model cost, portfolio value, commercial loss or emotional value attached to the images.

8 - File delivery

Scanned files will be delivered online after processing and scanning.

Delivery time may vary depending on lab workload, film condition, chemistry schedules and scanning requirements. Any delivery estimate is an estimate only, not a guaranteed deadline.

Attendees are responsible for downloading and backing up their files after delivery. Liquid Light Lab may retain files for a reasonable period, but permanent file storage is not included.

9 - Negative return

Processed negatives will be returned to the attendee using the booking details provided, unless another return method is agreed.

You are responsible for providing accurate contact and delivery information. Liquid Light Lab is not responsible for delay, loss or misdelivery caused by incorrect or incomplete customer details.

10 - The model

The event includes portrait shooting with Olga, subject to availability. If Olga becomes unavailable because of illness, emergency, travel issue or another reasonable cause, Liquid Light Whisperer may provide a suitable replacement model, alter the shooting structure, reschedule the event, or offer another reasonable remedy.

Attendees must treat the model professionally at all times. No physical contact is permitted unless expressly invited by the model and agreed by the organiser in the context of the shot. Harassment, inappropriate comments, intrusive behaviour, unsafe direction or refusal to follow organiser instructions may result in removal from the event without refund.

11 - Use of images taken during the event

Unless stated otherwise in writing, attendees may use their own images from the event for personal use, portfolio use, website portfolio use and non-paid social media posting.

Images may not be sold, licensed, submitted for commercial advertising, used in paid campaigns, used to promote third-party products or services, used in stock libraries, used for AI training datasets, or used in any misleading, defamatory, adult, political, exploitative or unlawful context without separate written permission from the organiser and, where required, the model.

When posting images publicly, attendees should credit the event, model and relevant partners where practical.

The organiser may photograph or film behind-the-scenes material during the event for promotion of Liquid Light Whisperer, Liquid Light Lab, This is How I Roll Film and future related events. Anyone who does not wish to appear in behind-the-scenes material should notify the organiser before the walk begins.

12 - Behaviour and safety

The event takes place in public locations around Bath. Attendees must follow reasonable instructions from the organiser, respect the public, avoid obstructing pavements or entrances, and work safely around roads, steps, crowds, uneven surfaces and other city hazards.

Attendees are responsible for their own personal safety, belongings and equipment during the event.

The organiser may remove any attendee from the event without refund if their behaviour is unsafe, disruptive, abusive, discriminatory, intoxicated, unlawful, damaging to the event, or likely to affect the safety or experience of other attendees.

13- Weather and location changes

The event is planned as an outdoor city photowalk and may go ahead in variable weather.

The organiser may adjust the route, shooting locations, timing or structure of the walk in response to weather, crowds, access restrictions, road closures, public events, safety issues, model requirements or other practical conditions on the day.

If severe weather or another serious issue makes the event unsafe or impractical, the organiser may reschedule the event or offer a suitable alternative.

Cancellations by attendees

Places are limited and must be booked in advance.

Because this is a fixed-date leisure event with committed film, model time and event capacity, cancellations within 7 days of the event are non-refundable.

For cancellations made more than 7 days before the event, the organiser may offer a refund, transfer or credit at its discretion, less any payment processing fees or committed costs already incurred.

Places are transferable, provided the organiser is notified in writing before the event and receives the replacement attendee’s name, email address and contact details.

Failure to attend, late arrival, forgotten camera, unsuitable camera, camera fault, personal travel disruption, illness or change of personal circumstances does not create an automatic right to a refund.

14 - Cancellations or changes by the organiser

The organiser may cancel, postpone, reschedule or alter the event if necessary because of illness, unsafe conditions, model unavailability, transport disruption, venue or location restrictions, insufficient bookings, public order issues, extreme weather or circumstances outside reasonable control.

If the organiser cancels the event outright and does not provide a replacement date or reasonable alternative, attendees will receive a refund of the event fee paid.

The organiser is not responsible for attendee travel costs, accommodation costs, parking costs, lost income or any other consequential loss arising from cancellation, postponement or alteration of the event.

15 - Age requirement

Attendees must be 18 or over unless attending with a parent or legal guardian.

Any attendee under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult who has also booked a place or has been expressly approved by the organiser in advance.

16 - Accessibility and fitness

The event involves walking through Bath, standing for periods, using public spaces and potentially moving through uneven streets, steps, slopes or busy areas.

Attendees should consider whether the event is suitable for their own mobility and health requirements before booking. Anyone with access requirements should contact the organiser before the event so that reasonable adjustments can be considered where practical.

17 - Personal belongings

Attendees remain responsible for their own cameras, lenses, bags, phones, film, clothing and personal items.

The organiser is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to attendee property unless caused directly by proven negligence.

18 - Data use

Booking details will be used to manage the booking, communicate event information, process and return negatives, deliver scans, and handle necessary customer service relating to the event.

Details will not be sold or used for unrelated purposes.

19 - Force majeure

The organiser is not liable for failure or delay caused by events outside reasonable control, including extreme weather, public transport disruption, illness, accident, police instruction, public disorder, location closure, fire, flood, power failure, postal disruption, supplier failure or any other event that could not reasonably be prevented.

20 - Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or breach of statutory rights.

Subject to that, the organiser’s total liability is limited to the amount paid for the attendee’s event place.

21 - Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.

Any dispute will be dealt with under the courts of England and Wales unless consumer law gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
