The film, development and scanning alone are worth £89—before the photowalk even begins. Your place also includes a dedicated portrait session with Nadia, our experienced in-house model.
Your place includes practical guidance throughout the session, portrait photography with Nadia, two rolls of 35mm Candido film, one roll of Ilford black-and-white film, and development and scanning through Liquid Light Lab after the event.
This is not simply a casual camera walk. It is a structured film photography session designed to help you shoot with greater purpose, work confidently with a model and achieve the strongest possible results from the rolls you expose on the day.
Guidance will be provided by Martin Brown, founder of Liquid Light Lab and Liquid Light Whisperer, and brand ambassador for Candido Collective. Martin’s film portrait work includes actors, performers and creative professionals. Throughout the session, he will provide practical guidance on exposure, composition, subject direction, using the location effectively and the complete film workflow from camera to final scan.

Nadia understands expression, movement, posing and the more considered rhythm of working with 35mm film. Her experience gives attendees a focused portrait opportunity that goes far beyond a standard photowalk.

Please bring your own working 35mm camera. Film will be supplied on the day, and your exposed rolls will be collected for development and scanning after the walk.

This event brings the complete analogue chain together: cameras and community through Analogue Cameras, film supplied by Candido Collective, and development and scanning handled by Liquid Light Lab.
It is suitable for film photographers who want to build their confidence photographing people, try Candido film in a guided setting and experience Liquid Light Lab’s controlled development and scanning workflow.
Booking note
Your details will be used only to manage your booking, keep you updated about the event and return your negatives to the correct address. They will not be used for any other purpose.
Places are limited and must be booked in advance. Cameras are not included, and attendees must bring their own working 35mm camera.
Film supplied on the day is included in the ticket price and must be used during the event to qualify for the included development and scanning. You are welcome to bring additional rolls, which can be processed separately through Liquid Light Lab at the usual lab rates.
Places are transferable, but cancellations made within seven days of the event are non-refundable because film, model time and event arrangements will already have been committed.
